Stock & Grimes, LLP maintains its own IT department and software development staff
Beginning in 1990, the company invested a considerable amount of time and effort in developing proprietary database software technology that automates the collections process to maximize manpower utilization. As client reporting and electronic data transfer requirements continue to evolve, the company has continued to develop the technology to meet these requirements through the use of innovative and advanced data processing solutions
Through the use of proprietary software developed in-house, the firm is able to efficiently handle the processing of many thousands of debt accounts in compliance with the most stringent reporting requirements of its clients. The firm has the ability to transfer data securely to and from the client in whatever format is required and quickly respond to special requests. The firm has consistently achieved the highest ratings from clients in the area of technical compliance.
The firm’s main headquarters in Jenkintown, PA currently has two networked multi-CPU servers that handle the firms data processing needs. Internet access and VOIP phone service is provided via a DSL T-1 connection. A high speed ethernet network connects all PC’s.
Firewalls and antivirus software is used to protect all servers and workstations. Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS) protect all computer hardware. Redundant backups are performed daily and copies of data are kept offsite.
This picture is not the Stock & Grimes computer room; it is a US Army photo (circa 1946) of Eniac, the first large scale computer. Our equipment is a bit more modern.
